Stopped in the old Barbiere's here as it's been entirely way too long. I had the 11" gluten free pizza and my son had the 8" pizza. Both were as good as I remembered it. Topped it off with a canoli Yum!
Food is very good excellent customer service excellent garlic bread and great pizza very good prices.
Absolutely fantastic! The garlic bread was amazing and their Italian sausage pizza was delicious. The sausage is their own special recipe that is something you have never tasted before unless you have been here. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves great pizza. The service was fantastic and the restaurant is very clean.
We have been coming to this restaurant since 1978 and always have great meals! Their Italian sausage pizza is outstanding. The sausage is their own special recipe. One slice and you will be hooked for life. The garlic bread is a must! It is a thick slice that is always cooked to perfection. We always have great service and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. You haven't had great food until you have Barbiere's!
Amazing food. Huge portions and always leave with leftovers. Best Italian food you will find!
The food was amazing, but service was a little slow even though there weren't many people there (2 pm). I asked for extra mozzarella on my penne and it was perfection :)
I don't know how I haven't reviewed this place, I've been here many times and always enjoyed it. It's Italian-American, they aren't trying to be authentic Italian, which means they have great Italian American (New Yorkish) pizza, 'ghetti and meatballs (my fav), and a decent house Chianti. Service is always friendly and competent, always street parking in front, good place with either friends or by yourself.
After all these years, this place still packs them in! Had to wait a while as it was very busy. Our server Gia was awesome. I felt like it was 1980 all over again with the iceberg lettuce salad had two pieces of pepperoni, two pieces of cheese, one pepperoncini, and one olive and one tomato. Garlic bread had lots of buttery flavor and sizable. The pizza was hot and chewy. I'm not sure how I feel about the crust cause you really had to work at it.
Stopped in during the week and the place wasn't packed but it was pretty steady. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable! Good food recommendations. The canoli was amazing and the meatball sandwhich was also very flavorful. The food was so good that we even ordered a pizza to go!
Date of visit: August 24, 2023 When Mama Mia's was closed due to "excessive heat," we needed to find a new place that would help us get our garlic bread fix and boy did we succeed! This cozy 17-table establishment is the epitome of "hole in the wall," in the nicest way possible. We were greeted by quite possibly the sweetest server I have ever had, Dee Dee. She is the kind of waitress that drives customer loyalty and returning customers, which I feel we will definitely be after this visit! In addition to Dee Dee, the food was great! The antipasto had tomatoes, which wasn't listed on the menu, but they were easy to work around, and I enjoyed the little slices of cheese, pepperoni, and salami in the salad for extra flavor. The pizza was also quite good; we went with the deep dish and if you like bread this is definitely a deep dish for you. If you are more of a sauce person, best to stick with the thin crust here. Also thoroughly enjoyed the tiramisu, a famously tricky dish to make. I was also surprised at how well it was presented. I don't need it to be fancy, but it surely was! BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE! Really the highlight of the meal is the garlic bread. Sorry, it should be treated with the reverence it deserves. The highlight of the meal is. The. Garlic. Bread. It's garlicy, it's buttery, it's amazing! I would recommend eating with a fork and knife to save your fingers, but do not eat here without trying the garlic bread. Allergic to garlic bread? Eat it anyway, your last moments will be worth it!
